FIVERR | Month 3 | LEVEL 2 Seller | VoiceOverFun

So I am just ending my 3rd month on Fiverr.

This month I broke even to the 2nd month.  I saw not much difference with the entire month having earned the Level 2 badge at the beginning of the month.
I’m not sure how Fiverr works.  Whether they set your gigs up to get more exposure, but there seems to be a trend with successful talents that work on the platform.  They get successful after working on the platform for a few months, and then it’s like Fiverr unlocks something for that talent because at some point they always start receiving a ton of orders, and thus start their REAL living on the Fiverr website as a contractor.

It would be a really awesome thing to happen for me, as it would give me perfect time to work on both Fiverr and my youtube channel with no hassle.  I usually spend half the day working with Fiverr and other VO projects, getting my orders done, and then the second half of the day is spent engaging with folks on youtube and livestreaming video games.

We’ll see how all this pans out in the coming months.

Ghost | Video Game created by Francisco tellez de meneses

Ghost is a video game created by “UnEpic” creator Francisco tellez de meneses.
UnEpic was a well reviewed, but underrated title that was VERY popular among those who played the side-scroll RPG.
Ghost looks to be a well deserved upgrade to the type of game UnEpic was by delivering what looks to be a sci-fi metroidvania.  How cool is that!?

I voice the narration in this trailer, but if you listen closely, I also voice someone else.
I hope you enjoy the trailer as much as we did putting it together!
Thanks, and be sure to support the game by commenting in the video, and following the creator’s tweets if you like his content!

Tales of Zale Minisode #1

Keep an eye out soon for Tales of Zale minisode #1.
Animated by Zachary Johnson | Music Composed by Matthew Pablo.

My first time project with Hikarian Animations.
For this project my main contribution was sound design and all audio editing, creating foot patter, ambience, basically everything you hear in the final product. I DO make a tiny robotic voice cameo, but that’s it!

You will get to learn more how I used the palm of my hand to create both Zale’s footsteps, as well as Elva’s talon steps once the minisode is up!

So I haven’t really taken the time to let some of you into my personal life!!

I love video games! I love video games that tell a great story, provide discovery and adventure, and that have great characters. So that should tell you that I don’t play Multiplayer Games that much. The only multiplayer game that I play because it DOES have a sense of progression and adventure is GTAV for right now. One game that I am definitely looking forward to is Dark Souls III (Take a look at some gameplay

The game provides a ton of exploration, lore, and a story that is not spoon fed to you, which is right down my alley. AND IT’S SUPER CHALLENGING! That’s right.. you’ll die.. die.. and die again as you traverse the game. Filled with traps, tricks, and the developers messing with your head as you progress.. and I love that.

I won’t say too much about Dark Souls, but if you follow my blog, I’d like to hear your Dark Souls tales. What are you looking forward to in the new game!?

I have reached the LEVEL 1 Seller status on Fiverr on APRIL FOOLS DAY!
This means that I have been active on the platform for exactly 30 Days. 10+ Orders Completed. And POSITIVE REVIEWS.
I am now granted more features in order to make better sales. Lets see how quickly I can get to Level 2.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Okay, so this is my first month on Fiverr.

I will give you my experience and thoughts.
A lot of people on their first month of Fiverr is usually when they will give up and forfeit the website because making their first couple of orders is TOUGH. That’s not a lie.. making my first 3-5 orders was no easy task and took just about half the month. Why is this?

Well, Fiverr works off rank, and SOCIAL status. So if you have no orders and no reviews for people to look at, you are basically a nobody to everyone.
THANKFULLY, I think the power of my youtube channel gave me most of my kickoff leverage in proving my worth to people.

I think the first week, I had like 2 orders.. the second week, I had like 1 order. Very depressing. And I had to market HEAVILY just for those 3 orders.
The following week after that I kept marketing and marketing my ass off.. made 3 more orders.
Around 3 days ago (here at the end of the month) I experienced what it’s like to be ‘noticed’ a little bit on Fiverr. My rank must have went up because all of a sudden orders started coming in and in ONE day I did about 6 orders (that’s SIX voice over projects), and I think I made around $60. Mind you, this is WITHOUT being a Level 1 or Level 2 seller.

Keep in mind I do about 125 words for $5, and the increment of price grows as the word count grows. So 126 – 250 would be $10. So we’re talking about a voice over session that takes about 5-15 minutes of work for each project.

You say, “SIX VOICE OVERS for $60..!??! That’s not much money! You’re stupid”, BARE WITH ME…

For those that don’t know, if you sell well on Fiverr and grow your rank (rank is determined by how much money you’re making on orders, how quickly you respond to people, how quickly you deliver your work, and your reviews). You reach Level 1… and then Level 2, and if you are FANTASTIC, you’ll get the highest rank of “Top Seller” for which Fiverr staff hand pick their top sellers personally.

So, I’m quite impressed.. I made $60 with basically ‘no status’ perks, and no seniority, seeing as how I am brand new.

Why is this fascinating to me?? Because I’m looking at the future. Most voice talents and actors audition for work, and wait around for that next $800 gig. How many times did I audition on Fiverr? NONE… the orders came to me, as if I were a store front selling merchandise. If this grew to about $200 a day (my goal right now), then that’s nothing to sneeze at. I’d be doing a hell of a lot better than I was auditioning 20 times a day for projects I’d never get, and potentially wasted days.. Not to mention that once you start gaining your “Levels” the tools available to you for UPSELLING become available to you, increasing the amount of money you can make on your gigs. I’m very optimistic.

I won’t talk too much on it right now… lets see what Month 2 will bring.
